Esquire Best Dressed Party with ICONIC

Esquire Middle East recently had their Best Dressed 2016 party and I was one of the 200 million guests who came to the Billionaire Mansion at Taj Dubai. I wasn’t lucky enough to be chosen for the issue this year – let’s face it, I don’t really dress in the title’s preferred dapper dandy aesthetic – but I still made an appearance.
Kitted head to toe by local fashion brand ICONIC, I opted for a hybrid look that I could wear comfortably from day to night. With the blazer serving as the highlight of the look, I chose a navy piece finished in a baroque texture and accessorized with a brass ship’s wheel lapel pin. Underneath is a micro-geometric print shirt with a little bit of sheen to it, which works well enough for both daytime and evening occasions. The white, slim-fit trousers offer a nice contrast to the whole outfit as it leads the eyes to the royal blue suede chukka boots.
